Schilksee Press Centre

Olympic Centre.

The Land Capital Kiel has set up work stations for you there. Telephones and fax machines, e-mail connections and internet access are all available. Every day at the Schilksee Press Centre there will be available for you up-to-date press services and press reviews, together with invitations to press events.
From the Press Centre you will, after registration, be able to send e-mails in the fax area. Please note that the Schilksee Press Centre will be using a Wireless-LAN system. You can only access the internet from your own PC if you have a Wireless-LAN card! It is possible for you to receive telephone calls at the Press Centre.
Press boats, of varying speeds, will be available for reporting from the regatta courses and for taking photographs or filming. You will find these boats at Steg (landing stage) 4 (Nordhafen, outer side). Boarding arrangements will be made at the Schilksee Press Centre. Registrations are to be made at the latest by 6:00 pm on the previous day, either in person or by fax, giving an indication of the regatta course(s) you wish to cover.
In the event that you are unable to make the trip, we would ask you to notify us by 8:00 am on the morning of the trip. In this way you will give other colleagues the chance to go on that particular trip. The charge is 30 euros per person per trip. This charge is payable on registration and can only be refunded if you have given appropriate notification by 8:00 am on the day of the trip that you will be unable to attend (Deregistration may also be made by telephone).

It is planned to hold a press conference every day at about 5:00 pm, to which the yachting clubs and the Land Capital Kiel warmly invite you.
