During the Kieler Woche an altered traffic regulation will apply in the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Centre area. All participants
are urgently requested to observe the traffic signs when approaching Kiel-Schilksee and to cooperate with the police
and the Organizing Authority. Further instructions will be given at the entrance to the harbour area.
The harbour area is closed for all vehicles at night.
Friday, 17 June, 0800 – 2400 hrs.
Saturday, 18 June, 0600 – 1200 hrs.
Tuesday, 21 June, 1200 – 2400 hrs.
Wednesday, 22 June, 0600 – 2400 hrs.
Thursday, 23 June, 0600 – 1200 hrs.
Sunday, 26 June, 1200 – 2000 hrs.
Zemporary access to the harbour: You may enter temporarily the marina by paying a deposit of 50 € valid for one (1)
hour. The deposit will be returned at the exit after having left the harbour area on time.
Sufficient parking slots for cars are available near the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Sailing Centre. Please follow the
road signs to the public parking areas. Parking alongside Fördestraße is forbidden and cars will be towed away.
It is not permitted to leave cars or boat trailers in the harbour area.
Keelboats arriving by trailer may be launched and hauled out with their own connection wire by the cranes in
the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Centre only. During the event a craning fee for one launching and one haul-out is covered
with the Entry Fee.

Friday, 17 June, 0800 – 2030 hrs.
Saturday, 18 June, 0700 – 1900 hrs.
Tuesday, 21 June, 0800 – 2030 hrs.
Wednesday, 22 June, 0700 – 2030 hrs
Thursday, 23 June, 0700 – 1900 hrs
Sunday, 26 June, 0800 – 1900 hrs.
Boats may also stay or be craned in the harbour of Strande. Arising fees have to be paid by the owners and will not be
refunded by the Organizing Authority.
The Organizing Authority draws attention to the fact that the responsible drivers of rubber- or other motorboats have to
have the German “Sportbootführerschein See” or an equivalent powerboat license of his home country (e.g. RYA level 2
powerboat or international certificate of complience).
The legal speed limit in Strande Bay is 10 knots.
