Women's Sailing Champions League

For the first time, the International Sailing League Association and SAILING Champions League GmbH are carrying out the Women's Sailing Champions League in 2018. Kiel-Schilksee has the honour of hosting the very first regatta.

We look forward to welcoming the top female sailors from the best clubs in the world to Kiel Week from 15 - 19 June!


General Information


  • The event will be sailed on the J70 boats provided by the OA
  • Crew will consist of 4 or 5 members
  • Only clubs invited by the Sailing Champions League GmbH will be eligible to enter this event
  • Each national league can appoint two clubs who will be invited to the event
  • Beside the two clubs, there will be wild cards for other yacht clubs. The Sailing Champions League Steering Committee will assign the wild cards
  • All team members need to be members of their participating clubs
  • Entries will only be accepted from invited clubs. If you wish to be invited please register your request for an invitation as soon as possible with the OA: and

  • Skippers briefing  at 10.30
  • First warning signal not before 13.00


Sunday 17 June

  • Daily skippers briefing at 09.00
  • First warning signal at 10.00
  • After Sailing Social at 19.30

Monday 18 June

  • Daily skippers briefing at 09.00
  • First warning signal at 10.00
  • Last possible warning signal at 16.00
  • Prize giving ceremony at 16.30
